Zdrastvuite!!!

I am a 21 year old, female, Canadian rugby player. I play for the UKC blue devils (varsity squad) during the university season and in the summer I play for the Halifax Tars RFC. I usually play inside centre, wing or hook; my beep test score is 10.4 and I LOVE to tackle!!! I will be graduating with a BA in Russian Studies (mainly language studies) and Contemporary Studies (yawn), so I CAN speak and usually understand Russian. I studied in St.Petersburg for 4 months last year, fell in love and am trying to come back for AT LEAST the summer and NEED to play some rugby while I'm there.

I had a really hard time finding a team when I was in St. Petersburg...where else can I play?

No sweat, you'll find a few female teams in Moscow. Ask LENA_ZHUK, she recently wrote somewhere here that all girls are welcome to trainings!

Amazing!!! I love Russia so much, but need to keep playing so I can continue to play during my masters in Canada (plus, playing rugby in Russia just sounds so bad-ass, I can't resist).

Yep, but it seems that girl from Canada playing rugby in Russia is a real mother of a blow-out too;)

I have some contacts if you go to Ukraine also.
There are lots of little tournaments especially beach.
I was hoping to spend the summer over there this year, but I have only limited time.
